Natural History Museum!

We visited the Natural History Museum last week with Aunt Amber. We wanted to take Hannah and Memphis (the little boy Amber was watching) to see the Dinosaurs! There was a large animatronic T-Rex in the main lobby and it freaked the crap out of both of the kids. We tried to take them in to see the 3-D Dino movie and as soon as the lights went out and the movie started they both freaked again. Sensitive little people! Amber was smart enough to have grabbed seats in the back row, so we made a quick exit into the museum and ran past the scary dinosaur and the fun began...

We finished up with a quick trip into the gift shop because I wanted to get Hannah a new dinosaur. She got a Parasaurolophus and they both got a baby T-rex. The whole ride home they played growling dinosaurs in the back seat. So cute!!

I think they had a pretty good time but I don't think we will be back for a few years.

Hannah's Birthday!

Hannah's day started just like any other - Boo on the couch with her babies. She always has to have a baby with her now.





Then we opened presents from Grammie and Papa! Exciting!!! We had to go outside to play chalk immediately!

We went to the park with Aunt Amber and O'Malley. Hannah loves the slides!


And she loves climbing on things and scaring the bejebus out of mommy.

We went for a walk on the trails and Hannah got very very dirty. She is my little dirt baby!


And Hannah got a fish today!! She is soooo pretty! A little female Betta fishy. We (the adults) have decided she will be named Charlotte <3


Hannah ended the day by staying up waaaay too late because she was over simulated and over tired. Bah! I hope she isn't a grouch at her party tomorrow!!

She LOVES coloring!

We got her an easel as an early birthday gift and she loves it like crazy!

So far we are only using the chalkboard side for coloring. The other side is a dry-erase kind of side that is also magnetic. She has some number magnets over there. She likes to count them. Today she got up to 10 with a little help! Smarty pants!

Hannah took a nap with her baby doll yesterday. She loves all of her babies very much! Look at her sweet little hand tucked under her face... awwwwwww!!!

Today instead of waking up from her nap, she followed me to the living room and fell back asleep on the couch. She has NEVER done that!! It was way too cute!

We've been spending a lot of time mostly naked these past few days. We seem to be battling the rash from hell right now. Ugh. Hannah is taking it like a champ though! She hardly complains or notices!

How stinking cute are these little sandals!? These are a size 7/8 toddler! Whoa Big Feet!

Fun times wearing big girl undies to air out and her backpack. She puts on the backpack then says "Bye! Seeya Later!" and walks out of the room. So cute!

Happy Mother's Day!!

We had a great day today! Hannah slept in until 7:30, then Russell made us breakfast in bed.

We lounged around in bed for a few hours and then Russell made me Spaghetti and Meatballs for lunch.

Yuuuuummmmmmy!

We took cute pictures for Grammie, and I will be sending her "card" out in the next few days. :)

Then we had nap time and reading time and playing time and just a whole lot of fun snuggling time.

Crazy Morning Hair Monster!

I heard her giggling and cruching and went to investigate... I found her in my computer chair with the bag of goldfish I had stashed away from her the night before. She loves the fishies!

She was nice enough to share them with me too! Behind the hands she is saying "Mama, too?"

After a long day of shopping with her Aunts and trying on clothes at home,

Hannah decided the best place to watch tv was on top of Daddy's legs.

She was very happy with her decision. :)
